Frazee Celebrates Two Decades of Successful Business

Frazee Recruiting Consultants in Baton Rouge is celebrating its twentieth anniversary this year as a workforce solution company.

After 20 years of providing quality temporary, temp-to-hire, contract staffing services, direct hire and executive search to Baton Rouge and surrounding parishes, FRC is giving themselves a well-deserved pat on the back.

“This company has successfully survived in an increasingly competitive environment over the past 20 years,” Marianne Frazee, FRC’s owner said. “And we are constantly dealing with one new regulation after the other!”

Two decades of success is an amazing feat for FRC, but this company never forgets its roots.

The year was 1992, and Frazee returned home to her family in Baton Rouge from Los Angeles where she worked in a hypercompetitive market for 10 years. After settling down, Frazee joined a global staffing firm in the busy I-10/I-12 Corridor and later purchased a staffing franchise from an Atlanta-based company in 1995.

Despite initial success with the franchise, Frazee wanted to manage a company of her very own without the restrictions and regulations of a parent corporate office. In 1998, she did just that.

“Marianne has a determination about her that makes her a ‘mover and shaker,’” Amanda Ridings, a long-time employee, said. “She gets things started and drives things forward!”

Beginning with a staff of two members, Frazee and her team gradually built momentum; Frazee discovered a passion for public relations and marketing, and the fledgling company hired an additional employee.

Outside the scope of the franchise company, Frazee moved her business venture to a bigger office and officially established FRC focusing on contract professional staffing, direct hire and executive search.

FRC has since been climbing the ladder of success; Frazee’s company is a certified WBE and WOSB, the majority of her employees have been with the agency for over a decade, and FRC holds the secret to recognizing talent in their candidates–fostering loyalty and lasting business relationships.

Frazee and her team build relationships outside the office as well through community and charity events, including the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank, WBRZ’s “Stuff the Bus” program, CAAWS and many fundraising activities that benefit heart healthy initiatives. One of the most important groups is the “Circle of Red.”

The American Heart Association’s Capital Region’s “Circle of Red,” is a passionate group of women dedicated to making an impact in the Baton Rouge community’s fight against heart disease. Members rally together to actively support legislation and community events that promote their cause.

With so much success, Frazee wants to grow her company into something even bigger in the future. For now, FRC plans to commemorate everyone’s efforts throughout the history of the agency and continue providing services to be proud of.

“The proudest moments are when we help the clients by filling their positions with candidates that need jobs,” Ridings said. “It’s a kind of pride you get from doing your job and having the result work out for the client, the candidate and you!”
