Frazee Recruiting Celebrates “Go Red for Women”

For the past 8 years, Frazee Recruiting Consultants, Inc. has participated in the Capital Area American Heart Association’s “Go Red for Women” campaign. Owner Marianne Frazee has been a long time member of the Baton Rouge Region’s “Circle of Red” group. For the 2020-2021 campaign, mostly everything had to go virtual. However, that didn’t deter this worldwide movement from it’s mission of removing barriers to good health and well-being for all women.

Frazee Staff “put on their red” and participated in “National Wear Red Day” on February 5th. Paula Larson, Ops Manager for Frazee, attended the annual “Go Red for Women Luncheon” which ended up as a virtual event this year.

Cardiovascular disease is the No. 1 killer of women, taking more lives than all forms of cancer combined. Cardiac events are rising among young women in their 20’s. Unfortunately, this group is among the least aware of this disease and how easily it can be prevented with a healthy lifestyle, proper nutrition & regular exercise. To contribute to raising awareness, Frazee has created a contest which can be found on the company Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/frazeerecruiting/. All you have to do is answer 3 questions about heart health and YOU could be the lucky winner of a “Go Red” gift basket. Winner to be announced February 26th.
